General App Troubleshooting
There are a number of steps that can help in a wide variety of situations. These are good things to try, regardless of what the issue is:
- Update the app
- On an iPhone, long press on the App Store and select Updates. This will bring you to a screen that will tell you if any of the applications on your phone need to be updated.
- On an Android, open the Play Store and tap on the hamburger button on the top left of the screen, then tap My apps & games. This will bring you to a screen that will tell you if any of the applications on your phone need to be updated.
- Reinstall Reconnect Community
- Confirm there is an Internet connection by loading a webpage on the device
- Close the Reconnect Community app and then re-open it
- Restart the phone
