General App Troubleshooting

There are a number of steps that can help in a wide variety of situations. These are good things to try, regardless of what the issue is:

  1. Update the app
    1. On an iPhone, long press on the App Store and select Updates. This will bring you to a screen that will tell you if any of the applications on your phone need to be updated.
    2. On an Android, open the Play Store and tap on the hamburger button on the top left of the screen, then tap My apps & games. This will bring you to a screen that will tell you if any of the applications on your phone need to be updated.
  2. Reinstall Reconnect Community
  3. Confirm there is an Internet connection by loading a webpage on the device
  4. Close the Reconnect Community app and then re-open it
  5. Restart the phone
